SOA at Restaurants

My wife and I went to a restaurant in Leesburg, VA called Vintage 50. It is a good restaurant and when the owner stopped by I asked him what the key point to make money in his business. He said the number one issue is cross-utilization. I thought it was interesting that the most important issue in the restaurant business is the most important issue in the computer business. The owner went on to state that if you have a small restaurant, you can have more custom selections. As as restaurant grows in size (scales) the ability to easily share ingredients (components) to offer better utilization of the meals (applications) becomes extremely important.
